Asians in football
There are hundreds of thousands of young Asian footballers in Britain today, yet only seven British Asian players earn their living in the professional game. With a strong presence in the grassroots game, what accounts for such a huge under-representation at the top of the game?
Club Website takes a look at the issue to find out what's being done to improve this worrying statistic. We catch up with the National Asians in Football Forum - set up by Kick It Out to address the issue - and check out a brand new initiative launched by one high profile Premier League team in an attempt to discover the next Asian superstar.
