Back to my roots - Bob Wilson
Bob Wilson is an Arsenal legend. Involved with the north London club for almost half a century, they now regard their 1970/71 double-winning goalkeeper as "part of the furniture". With a successful 20 year broadcasting career to boot, Wilson is grateful for having spent his working life in the game he loves - not bad for a man whose father thought that being a footballer did not constitute a "proper" career.
For the last decade, Bob and his wife Megs have establised the successful Willow Foundation - a charity that provides 'special days' to seriously ill young adults, formed in memory of their daughter Anna in 1999. Club Website caught up with Bob at Willow Foundation HQ earlier this week and took him back to roots to discuss his incredible life in football from the very early days.

Club Website has been looking to reward those teams who really make the most of their website. We monitored all 38,000 teams across our network of 12,000 club websites last month and found the team using their site most were Glenrothes Strollers 93s Colts, who win a brand new Umbro kit for the squad.
Many congratulations to them and our five runner-up teams who each receive a new football - Sleaford Town FC 1st Team, Ulverley Hawks Under 12s, Tividale FC 1st Team, Farringdon Detached FC Under 11s and Reigate Hill FC.
Hard luck to those of you who missed out, but don't despair. Keep making the most of your club website in the months ahead and spread the word about it... who knows, next time it could be your squad finding themselves in line for a top prize!
