And another thing...

Club Website team Wembley FC became part of broadcasting history this month when they took part in the first football match to be screened live on Facebook. A reported audience of over 20,000 tuned to the social media site to see the north London side's 2-1 win over Ascot United in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round.

In other Club Website news this month we highlighted a fresh drive to increase the number of black and Asian coaches in both the professional and amateur game, whilst there was good news for grassroots football as the professional season got underway with the launch of the Premier League Players' kit scheme.

Funded by players of all 20 top-flight teams, the scheme will make £500,000 worth of kit available to under 16s football teams across England and Wales. If this of interest to your team, click here to find out how you can apply.

With one-eye on the example that the Premier League sets to the grassroots football community, chief executive Richard Scudamore this month reminded players and managers to 'Get on with the Game' this season.

Do people think that players might listen to the calls this time around? Not according to our latest Club Website poll, which found that a whopping 74% of you do not expect to see behaviour improve in the Premier League as a result.
