Football and me - Darren Fletcher
Having been bitten by the football bug growing up in Nottingham, Darren Fletcher moved into local radio as an 18-year-old and hasn't looked back since.
He now has almost two decades in sports broadcasting under his belt, during which time he helped setup Manchester United's MUTV channel and has, since 2004, been an integral part of BBC Radio Five Live's football commentary team.
We caught up with 'Fletch' at the Grass Roots Football Show to find out what it's like working in the beautiful game and to get his thoughts on some of the big issues affecting the game today from the Premier League to the local park.

Stars on the role of parents in youth football
Club Website caught up with three famous names from the world of football at the
brmb Grass Roots Football Show last month, as they talked about the role of arguably the most important people involved in youth football: the parents.
Referees' favourite Robbie Savage (right) said that parents, not professional players, should always be role models for their kids' actions on and off the pitch, while ex-Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin told any budding young footballers to always "listen and learn" to their parents if they want to make it as a player.
Meanwhile, ex-England boss Graham Taylor highlighted the "massively important" contribution that parents make before calling on the FA to encourage more of them into coaching by providing Level One coaching courses for free.

And another thing...
We've been all hands to the pump since The Clubhouse last hit your inbox in May getting our new club website design up and running. It may be the big news of the summmer, but there has been other stuff going on at clubwebsite.co.uk!
There was quite a fallout from Barcelona's demolition of Manchester United in the Champions League Final, with ex-England full back Danny Mills describing their Wembley performance as the wake-up call that English football needed.
Sport England are looking for clubs to bid for funding,
while
we also brought you details of the English FA's new disciplinary process for grassroots football.
Time-based suspensions are due to be replaced by match-based suspensions in all open-aged football for the start of the 2011-12 season, something that you can read more about in August's edition of The Clubhouse.
