We look at the issue of respect in youth football with Kids Coach Naomi Richards, Gareth Southgate talks St George's Park and we're giving away replica shirts for all four home nations, so there's a bit of something for everyone! Enjoy the issue.

in the spotlight this month...

FA youth proposals - one step to go

Football Association plans for a radical overhaul of youth football in England are just one step away from becoming reality.

Having been approved by the FA Council, proposals for a revised player pathway and a child-friendly approach to competition require 75% support from FA stakeholders at next month's AGM to become practice.

And another thing...

Plenty happening in the world of grassroots football in the last month and, as ever, Club Website has been on top of it in our news & updates section. Here's a quick recap if you weren't keeping up!

The English FA have announced winners of their third annual Respect Awards, while nominations are open for the 2012 Community Awards. The awards recognise the UK amateur football community's unsung heroes - the subject of this poetic video tribute - so if you know a person, club or league who deserves recognition for their efforts then put them forward for an award!

Sport England has called on the grassroots football community to shape the future of the game by taking their Sport Satisfaction Survey, plus they've published plans to help clubs affected by the recent hosepipe ban. Sounds a bit odd considering the recent rain, but it could come in handy!

North of the border, Edinburgh's two giants are set for a famous clash in next month's Scottish Cup Final, but that didn't stop them joining forces for a grassroots football scheme this month.

With 100 days to go to the London 2012 Olympics, we found out that 73% of you think that football has a rightful place at the Games. Although, judging by the response on our Facebook page, many of you aren't bothered about the Olympics taking place on these shores at all.

There's always loads of chat on both our Facebook and Twitter pages so, if either of these is your thing, then make sure you come on over and say hello!
