St George's Park set to "raise the bar"
Club Website has been given a tour of St George's Park, the FA's new national football centre, which opened to the public this month.
The state-of-the-art £100m base will cater for the very best in elite sport but, as a coach education centre that will "raise the bar" across the game, Chairman David Sheepshanks says St George's Park is "every bit as important for grassroots football as it is for elite football."

And another thing...
The start of August seems a long time ago, when the country - no, the world - was gripped by the exploits of Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis and Usain Bolt. It was such a triumphant sporting occasion that we had to ask if there were lessons that football could learn from London 2012.
As the dust settled on the Games, we featured news of a boost for women's football as a result of the Olympics, plus we brought you news of how you could 'Join In' with the Olympic legacy campaign.
Kick It Out gave you the chance to pick up some bargain coaching kit for your club, while history was made at St George's Park with the first coaching course at the new national football centre.
The FA and FA Cup sponsors Budweiser announced a £1m investment into grassroots football, while a lucrative sponsorship deal by the US brewer for Wembley FC - whose website is powered by Club Website - got everyone at club excited ahead of their FA Cup campaign.
Unfortunately for Wembley, despite having Terry Venables in the dugout and a host of international stars in their squad, their run lasted just three games, as they were dumped out of the cup 5-0 at the hands of Uxbridge in this week's Preliminary Round replay.
And finally, we asked for your feedback on our use of social media so, if you use our Facebook or Twitter pages, please tell us what you think of them and how we could make them even better!
